On Saturday April 30^th, 2022 at 1530 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire in the 34000 block of Parker House Road.  Engine 84-2 arrived to find a camper fully involved in fire with extension to a metal pole building.  The alarm was upgraded to working structure fire bringing the mutual aid box alarm assignment from Bethany Beach, Roxana and Frankford fire companies.  Engine 84-2 was able to quickly contain the fire in the pole building while the crew of Engine 84-6 extinguished the fire in the camper.  Tower 70 assisted with ventilation, laddering and overhaul.  The response was reduced to Millville and Bethany Beach units with one engine diverted for district coverage.  The fire is being investigated by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.  Units operated for just over one hour.
