On Saturday May 14^th, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company, Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation unit were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Vines Creek Road in the area of Blackwater Village.  The initial information reported a single vehicle had rolled over with one patient injured.  Upon arrival of the first EMS unit it was confirmed that only one patient would need EMS Care.  The crew of Engine 84-4 and Rescue 84 secured the vehicle.  The MVFC fire police were able to shut down the roadway ensuring the safety of our members operating near the roadway.  One patient was transported to a medical facility.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
