Brush Fire on Peppers Creek Road

On December 21st, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported brush fire on Peppers Creek Road in the area of Dogwood Acres. Units arrived to find an area of woods on fire threatening to extend into the marsh. Firefighters were able to contain the fire in short order. Units operated for approximately 30 minutes. Brush 84-0, Engine 84-6, Engine 84-2, Rescue 84 and Ambulance 84 made the response.
