On December 21^st, 2022 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported smoke odor inside of a residence in the 34000 block of Pocahontas Road in the Blackwater Village Development.  Units investigated and found the source of the odor to be a malfunctioning HVAC system.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  Engine 84-4, Engine 84-2, Rescue 84 and Ambulance 84 made the response.  Career Lieutenant Brian McConlogue had command of the incident.
