On Wednesday February 1st, 2023 at 1013 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Dagsboro VFD with a confined space rescue, one patient trapped in an elevated sand bin in the 30000 block of Thorogoods Road north of Dagsboro.  Rescue 84 and Engine 84-6 made the response.  Multiple agencies from throughout the region were called to assist in this complicated and lengthy rescue.  Millville units operated for approximately 7 hours prior to returning to service.  For more details see the Dagsboro VFD Facebook Page.
