On Tuesday evening February 21, 2023 several members of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company attended the “Business After Hours” event held at the Salted Rim Restaurant located at 35553 Atlantic Avenue in Millville.  The event was sponsored by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce to thank the area businesses and organizations that participated in this year’s Annual Fire & Ice Festival.  The chamber’s Executive Director Lauren Weaver along with representatives from the Millville Boardwalk presented a check to the President Greg Hocker and Secretary Michele Steffens in the amount of $8,109,00 from the proceeds of our 2^nd Annual Chili Cook-Off and Millville Boardwalk events.  The proceeds from both events will be placed in our ongoing 5-year Capital Campaign fund.  The MVFC would like to thank the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, Millville Boardwalk and the residents and visitors that attended these events, your support is very much appreciated.  We are looking forward to several upcoming events such as our Bob Powell Memorial Car Show on May 7^th and our Summer Concert Series on July 21^st, August 18^th and September 15^th, look for further details on our Facebook Page and on our website www.millville84.com.
