On Saturday July 29^th, 2023 at 2122 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company also with the mutual aid box alarm assignment was dispatched to a house fire in the 20000 block of Salty Air Drive in the Millville by the Sea development.  Units arrived to find a haze of smoke and a smoke odor on the 2^nd floor of the residence.  Units were able to identify the source of the smoke to a malfunctioning ceiling fan.  Engine 84-2, Engine 84-4, Tanker 84, Ambulance C-84, Traffic Control 84-13 and Command 84-8 made the response.  Mutual Aid was provided by Bethany Beach VFC, Frankford VFC, Dagsboro, VFD, Roxana VFC and the Sussex County Paramedics.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  A/C Rickards had command of the incident.  #millvilledefire
