On Wednesday October 11^th, 2023 at 1450 hours, as units were clearing the fire prevention detail at Lord Baltimore Elementary School, the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a report of wires down in the 30000 block of Sandy Landing Road west of Clarksville.  Units arrived to find wires down, energized on the ground, with several spot fires.  Engine 84-2, Engine 84-4, Command 84-8, Traffic Control 84-13 and Ambulance A-84 made the response.  Delaware Electric Cooperative was on the scene and secured the power to the area allowing extinguishment of the spot fire.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes prior to returning to quarters.  #millvilledefire
