Automatic Fire Alarm on Calm Water Drive in MBTS

On Saturday September 7, 2024 at 1027 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the 36000 block of Calm Water Drive in the Millville by the Sea development for a reported automatic fire alarm. Units arrived to find a smoke detector set off by steam cleaning. Engine 84-2, Command 84-8, Traffic Control 84-13 and Ambulance D-84 made the response. Units operated for approximately 15 minutes. A/C Guy Rickards had command of the incident.
