On Tuesday evening September 10^th, 2024 at 1938 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the mutual aid box alarm assignment were dispatched to the 35000 block of Cypress Point Trail in the Coventry Development for a reported house full of smoke.  Units arrived to find burnt food causing smoke to fill the home.  The fire was contained to the appliance, smoke was removed from the residence using positive pressure ventilation, and the balance of the responding units were returned to service.  Engine 84-2, Engine 84-6, Rescue 84, Tanker 84, Command 84-8 and Ambulance B-84 made the response.  Deputy Chief Paul Sterling had command of the incident.  Units operated for approximately 45 minutes.
