On Tuesday November 5^th, 2024 at 1707 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company along with the Sussex County Paramedics were dispatched to Whites Neck Road in the area of Bethany Forest Drive for a reported motor vehicle collision.  Units arrived to find a single vehicle accident with a vehicle into a pole.  Delaware Electric Cooperative was notified to respond to replace the pole.  DELDOT was requested for arrow boards to control traffic in the area after our fire police cleared the scene.  One patient was evaluated but not transported.  Rescue 84, Traffic Control 84-13, Ambulance B-84, Ambulance C-84 and assets from the Sussex County Paramedics made the response.  Assistant Chief Guy Rickards had command of the incident.  Units operated for approximately 30 minutes.  The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
