National Heath Care Decisions Day (NHDD) is held on April 16 each year to educate healthcare providers and the public about the importance of advance care planning for medical decisions. 

Advance Care Planning protects your right to determine the care you receive. Planning included completing an advance directive (living will) and appointing a healthcare power of attorney, someone you trust to make healthcare decisions on your behalf when you cannot. Advance care planning also means sharing this information with your loved ones to ensure that your wishes are honored. 

Join members of Beebe's Palliative Care team to get more information about Advanced Health Care Directives and learn strategies to effectively share your wishes with others. Copies of the form will be avialable. We can assist you in completing your directive.
