ADDRESSING RUMORS OF ASSAULT BY AN OFFICER

In regards to the report by Dan Gaffney on his morning show where he reported --

"Speaking of Cover ups, here's... Oh, I heard this as well, more rumors about the Millville Fire Company -- a high ranking -- this is a question… was a high ranking muckety-muck on the, ahh, fire company arrested for assault on a police officer. This rumor is NOT TRUE. No officer of the Millville Volunteer Fire Company has been arrested. There has been no assault, or arrest.

We are disappointed that an influential radio host would broadcast and foment unsubstantiated and false rumors. I have spoken with Dan Gaffney after his show to assure him that this is just a rumor and there is no fact to matter whatsoever.
