It is with deep regret that President Hocker announces the passing of Harold C. Lloyd on the morning of June 9, 2025. Harold was a member of the company for over 60 years, having joined on August 4, 1964. Throughout his tenure, he held several significant positions, including Vice President from 1984 to 1985, member of the Board of Directors in 1987 and from 2001 to 2002, Secretary of the Board of Directors from 2004 to 2008, Fire Chief from 1989 to 1990, Assistant Chief, Fire Police Captain, Assistant Secretary, and Safety and Health Officer.
 

Harold received numerous accolades, including the Delaware State Fire Police Award as a Past President of the Association on September 19, 2006. He was also honored with the title of Safety Officer Emeritus in 2010, and he received the Chief's Award in both 2010 and 2012, as well as the DVFA Certificate for 50 Years of Fire Service. Additionally, he contributed to many committees throughout his active years.
 

Please keep Harold's children, son Mark Lloyd and daughter Donna Rae Lloyd-Taylor, in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Harold's time of visitation will be Tuesday, June 17th from 1100 - 1300 hours at Bishop Hastings Funeral Home - 19 S Main St, Selbyville, DE 19975 . There will be no service or interment on Tuesday. The family has asked that donations in Harold's name be made to Millville Volunteer Fire Company.
 

Harold's dedication and commitment will be greatly missed!
