22 Yrs of Service Recognized

Last night, we had the pleasure of presenting Drake Burd with a plaque in honor of his remarkable 22 years of dedicated service to the Millville Volunteer Fire Company. Throughout his time with us, Drake has been invaluable as our Fire Recorder, ensuring our fire incident records are always accurate, timely, and complete. As Drake and his family prepare for an exciting new chapter in another state, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for his outstanding commitment and all he has contributed to our company. The plaque was presented during our company meeting, following his final dispatch report as a member of MVFC.
Drake's positive spirit and many talents, including his well-known performances in the area, have touched many, and he will be warmly remembered. We will especially miss Drake’s unique ability to bring laughter to the firehouse by mimicking nearly any sound, from alarms and sirens to airpack warnings. His sense of humor and bright spirit made every visit memorable. We wish Drake and his family all the best as they embark on their new adventure!
