Motor Vehicle Accident - 210-217 Atlantic Avenue

On Wednesday November 15 at 10:01 a.m., the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at 210-217 Atlantic Avenue. The ambulance crew and firefighters arrived to a two-vehicle accident. A Buick LeSabre traveling east on Atlantic Avenue struck a classic Ford Mustang as it was being towed westbound onto the road from the Denton Mills development. The driver and passenger in the Buick refused treatment. Ambulance personnel provided initial treatment at the scene to the driver of the Mustang, who was then transported to Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware. Deputy Chief Bob Magee turned the accident scene over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.
