On Saturday January 8^th, 2022 at the Millville Volunteer Fire Company “Awards Night” Mr. John “Jack” Melson was recognized with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Delaware Volunteer Firefighters Association (DVFA) for “Recognition of 50 Years of Dedicated Service to the citizens of Delaware”.  Mr. Melson has over 50 years of dedicated service to the Millville Volunteer Fire Company and has been a mentor to many current and past members of the fire company.  Mr. Melson has held the offices of Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Chief Engineer, Fire Police, Fire Police Captain and Director.  Mr. Melson is a past recipient of the Firefighter of the Year and Member of the Year Awards.  Congratulations on this prestigious recognition!
