Water Rescue with USCG

The Millville and Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Companies, along with the US Coast Guard, responded for a water rescue on Monday, November 21st to a duck hunter and his dog who were unable to get back to shore due to the severe low tide as a result of the super moon. It was estimated that the hunter and his dog were stranded in the mud for approximately 4 hours. It was a happy ending with both the hunter and his dog surviving the ordeal!
