Your Millville Volunteer Fire Company takes training seriously. On a recent evening, firefighters trained on the ladder truck to enhance their skills.

Just after 10 am Bethany Beach, Millville, Roxana, Frankford, Rehoboth Beach and SCEMS were alerted for a structure fire.

On Monday, 7 March 2017, at approximately 1350 hours, your Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched by Sussex County 911 Center to a brush fire in the 37000 block of Bella Via Way at The Reserves.

The Millville and Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Companies, along with the US Coast Guard, responded for a water rescue on Monday, November 21st to a duck hunter and his dog who were unable to get back to shore due to the severe low tide as a result of the super moon. It was estimated that the hunter and his dog were stranded in the mud for approximately 4 hours. It was a happy ending with both the hunter and his dog surviving the ordeal!
