On Friday afternoon, January 3rd, 2025 at 1434 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to a reported grass fire in the 31000 block of Oak Street in the Banks Acres Development.

On Monday December 30th, 2024 at 1233 hours the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to an appliance fire in the 34000 block of Anna Maria Drive in the Clearwater Development.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company would like to congratulate Firefighter Ryan Walter for his successful completion of Delaware State Fire School’s Firefighter I – II Program.

On Friday December 20th, 2024 the Millville Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Dagsboro VFD with a motor vehicle collision with entrapment on Vines Creek Road in the area of Anchor Drive east of Dagsboro.

The Millville Volunteer Fire Company has received an important message directly from Santa’s winter headquarters at the North Pole. Santa has confirmed his Millville Fire District “Santa on a Fire Truck” tour dates and times.

Tonight we began our transition to our new Pack System. Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (aka SCBA) is important and crucial for Firefighter safety as it allows us to breath in hazardous conditions. Dräger is our new SCBA equipment supplier.
